Dorothy A. Maggio, 94, of Granite City, formerly of Pittsburgh, Penn., died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Johnstown, Penn., the daughter to Andrew and Pauline (nee Seli) Fulton.
Dorothy married Steve Maggio in Pittsburgh, Penn. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Dorothy was avid reader who loved to crochet and enjoyed polka music.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Willie) Bailey of Granite City; a son, Steve (Connie) Maggio of Pittsburgh, Penn.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a brother, Andrew Fulton of Cleveland, Ohio.
Besides her husband and parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by a daughter, Paulette Bradley; two sons, Pete Maggio and Raymond Nutting; a grandson, Patrick Bradley; and a brother, John Fulton.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Calvary Life Church in Granite City. Burial will follow at a later date in Pittsburgh, Penn.
