Edna Beaver, 90, of Godfrey, passed away peacefully at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center.
She was born in Bellevue, Ill., on Feb. 11, 1926, the daughter of the late Nellie Fulkerson. She was raised by her grandmother, Margaret Fulkerson.
She married Glen Beaver on April 10, 1955.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Hornback; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Davis; a brother, Gene (Ferrolyn) Wineland, sister Anna Beth (Albert) Gross; a very special cousin, Martha Narrup; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Kupperschmind; and a brother, Dean Wineland.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Godfrey.
Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
