Franklin D. Bunch, 80, of East Alton, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at his residence.
Born in Rosedale, Tenn., on Sept. 28, 1935, he was the son of Bud and Ellen (Lowe) Bunch.
Franklin had worked as a machine inspector for the Boeing Corporation 41 years before retiring.
He married Joyce J. Lowe in 1954 in Georgia. She survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Ralph Bunch and Darrell Bunch, both of East Alton; daughter, Ann Roberts of St. Louis; granddaughter, Melissa Powers of St.Louis; three brothers, Elwood Bunch of Tennessee, Thomas Bunch and Troy Bunch, both of East Alton; and a sister, Charlotte Summers of Wartburg, Tenn.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, David Bunch; and two sisters, Omalee Roucker and Unella Isham.
Private service and burial were conducted at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. The Rev. Bill Pyatt officiated.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
