Gage Anthony Noud, 16, of Bethalto, passed away at 3:41 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 24, 1999, in Alton, a son of Stephen M. Noud of Bethalto and the late Pamela Ann (Schmittling) Noud. He has been a student with the Hope Institute in Springfield, Ill., for the past four years. He loved sports and enjoyed playing basketball, swimming and bowling. He could listen to music for hours and loved watching episodes of George Lopez and also Sponge Bob. The love of his family, special times shared, his smile and sense of humor will forever be remembered. In addition to his beloved father, he is survived by two half brothers, Brandon Moss and Ryan (Tammy Dankenbring) Moss; nieces and nephews, Brayden, Lola, Jace, Gabrielle, Danielle, Annaliese and Lucas; aunts and uncles, Becky and Terry Armas, Albert and Terry Noud, Dan and Bobbie Noud and Cathy and Mario Rossi; many cousins; other extended family and friends. In addition to his cherished mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Patricia Schmittling and Albert and Caroline Noud Sr.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, with Father Tom Liebler officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
