Gary Wayne Adams, 52, of Granite City, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at Christian Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 1, 1963, in Springfield, Tenn. Gary enjoyed working with electronics, fishing and gardening. He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Freda (Wallace) Tucker and Max Rorie of Granite City; his father and stepmother, Walter Lonnie Adams and Rita Carder of Hardin; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Tina Adams of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister and brother-in-law, Charla and William Cahill of Lebanon, Tenn.; nine nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Tucker; and a sister, Julie Tucker.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, with the Rev. Henry Crippen officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
