Georgina G. Harrow, 66, of Godfrey, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, from complications of breast cancer.
She was born on Feb. 24, 1948, in Richmond, Calif., the daughter to George and Gladys (Jackson) Harvey, who preceded her in death.
Gigi is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward J. Harrow, M.D., and their three sons, Daniel (fiancée, Younghye) of Columbia, Mo., David (Heather) Harrow of St. Louis, and Adam (Emily) Harrow of Issaquah, Wash.; and her siblings, LTC (ret.) Christopher (Linda) Harvey of Williamsburg, Va., Jennifer (Dan Gee) Harvey of Novi, Mich., and Jacqueline Kennedy DVM of Stafford, Va.
She was a devoted wife and mother. A graduate of Christopher Newport College, she was a lifelong history buff. Gigi was an accomplished equestrian and an avid gardener. Her charitable interests were numerous.
Her life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the St. Paul Episcopal Church, 10 E. 3rd Street, Alton. The service will be followed by an open house reception at her home.
