Grace V. Singleton, 88, of Fidelity, died at 8:29 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Center.
She was born on Jan. 22, 2014, in Hillview, the daughter of Ollie Thomas and Clara (Dunningan) Baze.
Grace was a homemaker and cook for local restaurants.
She married Bill Wayman and he preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Jesse C. Singleton and he preceded her in death in 2013.
Grace loved country music, dancing, crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and Bruce Evans of Carlinville and Elaine Giller of Licking, Mo.; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Beverly Wayman of Doniphan, Mo., and Tom and Anita Wayman of Wappapello, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Russell Baze of Jerseyville, Gerald Baze of S. Carolina and Hal Baze of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; two sons, Butch and Jim Wayman; three brothers and two sisters.
Per her wishes, Grace was cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
