Hope Violet Collins, of Brighton, was born and went to be with Jesus at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She is survived by her parents, John and Jennifer (Eyers) Collins of Brighton; her sisters, Grace, Kimberlie, and Joy; her brothers, Drew and Jamesson; her maternal grandparents, Doug and Deb Eyers of Brighton; paternal grandparents, George and Dee Collins of Brighton; maternal great-grandma, Mary Cummings of Jerseyville; her aunts and uncles, Missi and Jeff Hall of Brighton, Carla and Bob Hagen of Brighton, Josh and Jennie Eyers of Brighton, and Beth Eyers of Hawaii; and her cousins, Derek and Stephanie Hall, Lauren and Ryan Fretz, Lexy Hall, Tyler Hagen, Trenton Hagen, Carter Hall, Grayden Hall, Kenley Hall, Madison Fretz and Julie Eyers.
She was preceded in death by two siblings, her maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Sandy Eyers, and Lloyd Cummings; her paternal great-grandparents, Carl and Edna Collins, and Russell and Violet Hines, and one uncle, Michael Collins.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Alton. The Rev. Mark Scandrett and Pastor Pat Heston will officiate. Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery in Brighton.
Memorials are suggested to God’s Littlest Angels Orphanage in Haiti and will be accepted at the church.
