Imogene Ogle, 89, of Alton, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
She was born June 18, 1925, in Alton, the daughter of the late Jay and Marie (Fink) Belangee. She married Raymond Ogle in 1959 in Alton and he preceded her in death in 1992.
Imogene had worked in the Accounting Department of Owens-Illinois for 28 years. She was a member of the Home Extension Club, the Horticultural Society and the Best Years Club.
She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, Martin Medhurst of Texas, Michael Medhurst of Iowa, Avonda Fessler of Iowa, Carl Ogle of Alton, Alice Lucille Sinclair of Tennessee, Marge Kirby of Bethalto, Jean Ogle of Wood River, Wanda Bourland of Bethalto, Phyllis Ax of Godfrey, Gary Hoffman of Godfrey and Patricia Major of Collinville; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wilma Medhurst.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, from until the time of funeral service at noon at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey with the Rev. Randy Copeland officiating.
Burial will take place at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
