JoAnn Spohr, 76, of Granite City, died at 5:13 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 16, 1939, in Granite City to the late John and MaryAnn (Swiatek) DeHart.
On June 19, 1959, she and Frank Spohr were married in Centreville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2012.
JoAnn worked for many years as a Nurse for Dr. Blankenship.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Tinsley of Granite City; a son and daughter-in-law, John Christopher “Chris” and Martina Spohr of Glen Carbon; six grandchildren, Frank Spohr, Christopher Spohr, Matthew Spohr, Anna Spohr, Megan Tinsley and Ryan Tinsley; and a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Charlie Boxdorfer of Granite City.
Memorial visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of memorial services at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates.
