John Edward Perrin, 78, of Alton, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Integrity Health Care in Wood River.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1936, in St. Louis, the son to the late Clyde “Milton” and Mildred Bernice (Shrieve) Perrin.
John served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two son and daughters-in-law, Shawn and Denise Perrin of Toronto and Shane Leonard and Delia Perrin of Toronto; two grandchildren, Michelle and Shawn Perrin; three great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Tristyn and Damon King; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Karen Perrin of Grand Junction, Colo., and a special friend, Robert Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
