John “Randy” Guida, 56, of Madison, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
He was born on June 24, 1960, in Denver, Colo., to Harry A. Guida and Rose Ann (nee Sudek) Lopez.
The big “Star Wars” fan was an avid artist who loved to draw. John also enjoyed old television shows and monster trucks. He would have considered himself a movie critic and a party animal.
John is survived by a sister, Toni (Richard) Sbabo of Granite City; and two brothers, Michael A. Guida of McComb, Miss., and Harry Guida of Madison. Also surviving are his special aunt, Alice (Karl) Markovich of Granite City; a niece, Erica (Matt) Harper; and two great-nieces, Mallory and Abigail Harper.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City with Officiant Katherine Hahne.
