Johnna Ann Wilson, 27, of Granite City, passed away at 3:47 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
She was born July 25, 1988, in Granite City, a daughter of Johnny E. and Sherrie A. (Koelker) Baker. She married Anthony C. Wilson on June 27, 2014, in St. Louis and he survives. Johnna was a member of the Bush Pilot Ladies and cherished her children. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she is survived by her two sons, Dylan C. Wilson and Hunter J. Wilson; a sister and brother-in-law, Sara Kate and Steven Gibson of Newport News, Va.; a brother, Zachary A. Baker of Granite City; grandparents, Ralph and Terri Koelker of Granite City; great-grandmother, Rita Pellazari of Granite City; aunts and uncles, Bob and Kay Porter, Kathrine and Eddie Gerber, Sara and Chris Delatte and Cassie and Mike Redden; nephews, Declan, Zack and Jacob; other extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard Baker and Iona Pellazari; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patricia and Forrest Wilson; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Peck.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, with Jeff “Diesel” Turner, B.S.M.C., officiating.
