Judith L. Bolton, 68, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a long battle against ovarian cancer.
She was born May 28, 1947, in East St. Louis, the daughter to Adam and Dorothy (nee: Rosenkranz) Renneker.
Judith married Howard W. Bolton Jr. on April 15, 1984, in St. Louis.
She was a member of St. John UCC church in Granite City where she had taught Sunday School.
Judith was also a supporter of the Rotary Club of Downtown St. Louis. She was proud to have been one of the original St. Louis Playboy bunnies who worked her way up to management and worked at several resort areas for Playboy.
Judith would have liked to thank Dr. Mutch and the Siteman Cancer Center for their care these past 17 years.
Besides her husband, Judith is survived by three brothers, Jim (Carmen) Renneker of Florida, John (Carol) Renneker of Belleville and Jerry (Trish) Renneker of Salisbury, N.C.; three sisters, JoAnn (Ernie) Johnson of Missouri, Janice Becker of Belleville and Jeanne (Salvador) Torres of Granite City; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at the St. John UCC church in Granite City. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. John UCC church or the Rotary Club of Downtown St. Louis.
