Judy K. Tosh, 71, of Collinsville and formerly of Glen Carbon, passed away at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at her home.
She was born June 11, 1944, in Highland, a daughter of the late William Ray and Lucille (Geotz) Whitney. She married James I. Tosh May 22, 1987, in St. Louis and he passed away Feb. 17, 2015.
Judy had worked as a certified nurse’s assistant for several years and had also served as a bartender at the Judy Inn and American Legion Post No. 435 for many years. She had a love for animals and cherished her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Gena K. Evans of Glen Carbon and Sally D. Seiber of Collinsville; stepchildren, LeighAnn Johnson of Hamel, James A. “Andy” Tosh of Glen Carbon, Jeff Tosh of Hamel and Ed Tosh of Waterloo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Lou Gibson of Collinsville and Doris Jane King of Collinsville; other extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harland Eugene “Gene” Seiber Jr.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.
