Kenneth “Sparky” L. Tucker, 68, of Granite City, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at Granite City Nursing and Rehab.
He was born Aug. 1, 1946, in East St. Louis to Clifford L. and Esther G. (nee Channon) Tucker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Mexican Honorary Club. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and was an avid baseball, football and wrestling enthusiast.
He is survived by two daughters, Kelli Dahmm of Granite City and Nikki Jordan of Granite City; five grandchildren, Kevin Dahmm, Amy Dahmm, David Vasquez, Brittni Dahmm and Kortni Tucker; several great-grandchildren; brothers, George Tucker of St. Charles, Mo., and William (Melody) Goode of Spokane, Wash.; and two sisters, Shirley Jordan of Granite City and Patty (Mike) Delisle of Kissimmee, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Clifford, Billy, Buddy and James Tucker; sister, Dolly Parish; son-in-law, Keith Jordan; and a nephew, George “Butch” Lindsey.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory, where services will be held at 6 p.m. Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
