Kenneth G. Householder, 51, of Madison died on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 29, 1964, in Granite City, the son to Dallas and Lucy (nee Thomason) Householder.
Kenneth married Anna Lisac on Feb. 25, 2000, in Ullin, Ill. She preceded him in death in 2015.
The avid fisherman loaded barges with grain and even fished while working.
Kenneth is survived by one daughter, Kara Willingham of East St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Dwayne Adams, Rajieh Branch, Kialani Willingham, Nevaeh Branch, Darrion Branch, Kamarrion Branch and Kymani Willingham; one stepson, Robert Griffen of Madison; four brothers, Michael Householder of Piggott, Ark., Ricky (Helen) Householder of Granite City, Robert (Debbie) Householder of Granite City and Jim (Danielle) Hoffman of Granite City; and five sisters, Muriel Gossard of Salem, Ill., Mary (Dewey) Obermeier of Granite City, Cynthia Thompson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Rebecca (Alfred) Endicott of Iuka, Ill., and Judy (Phillip) Adams of Collinsville.
Besides his wife and parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by one brother, Larry Andrew Householder.
Cremation service entrusted to the care of Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory of Granite City.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Freedom Worship Center in Granite City.
