Kenneth P. Shepard, 56, of Granite City, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at his home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1959, in Fort Lee, Va., a son of the late Kenneth L. and Patricia (Sleeter) Shepard. He married Linda (Shelton) Shepard on March 22, 1991, in Edwardsville and she survives. Kenneth worked at Prairie Farms with 16 years of dedicated service in the warehouse. He served his country with the United States Navy. He enjoyed his days of watching football and playing the drums and was a avid fan of the Arizona Cardinals. He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Carrillo of Granite City; stepson, Paul Stell III of Shiloh; grandchildren, Aryanna, Destiny, Staci, Ava and Paul IV; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert Saari of Webster, Mass., and Debbie and Dennis Davis of Granite City; brother, Thomas Shepard of Granite City; other extended family and friends.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, with the Rev.
