Larry F. Laubscher, 73, of Brighton, died at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at his home.
He was born in Brighton on March 15, 1942, the son to the late Marion L. and Edna (Cairns) Laubscher.
Larry married Patricia A. (Churchman) Laubscher in Brighton Feb. 2, 1963. She survives and lives in Brighton.
A United States Army Veteran, Larry worked for Owen-Illinois Glass Works for 17 years. He then had a career change and went to work for Nilo Farms.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and spouse, Kimberly and William Oertel Jr. of Brighton; two sons and spouses, Terry and Billie Mae Laubscher of Brighton, and Lon and Angelika Laubscher of Jerseyville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and spouse, Harold and JoAnn Laubscher of Grafton; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Laubscher of Alton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marion and Walter Laubscher.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
