Linda Sue Goodman, 68, of Granite City, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born on Nov. 11, 1947, in Cynthiana, Ky., the daughter to Paul and Louise (nee Hughes) Gruelle.
Linda retired from Tower Automotive after 18 years of service. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Her favorite player was Yadier Molina. She loved to play bingo. She enjoyed her yard and loved her flowers. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kerry Brumley; mother, Louise Barker; two daughters, Beverly and husband, Vic Graham and Shelle Ridings and Kevin Frawley, all of Granite City; three grandchildren, Phillip Graham, Diona Graham and Baylee Ridings; two stepsons, Kristopher (April) Brumley and Kirk Brumley, both of Granite City; four stepgrandchildren, Hannah Brumley, Hailee Brumley, Olivia Brumley and Andi Lynn Brumley; a brother, David (Mary Margaret) Philpot of New Jersey; and two sisters, Bettie (Larry) Lemons of Cynthiana, Ky., and Judy (Gary) Howard.
Besides her father, Linda is preceded in death by a sister, Jane Ann Dalhover.
A memorial visitation will be from 6 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
