MaryAnn Guadagno, 75, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and formerly of Granite City, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at the Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, N.J.
She was born April 8, 1940, in Granite City, a daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Sipakie) Schall. Mary Ann had worked for many years as a home health aide. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rich and Beverly Guadagno of Bayville, N.J., and Michael and Dee Guadagno of Leesburgh, Fla.; two daughters, Laura Guadagno of Browns Mills, N.J., and Elizabeth Vought of Forked River, N.J.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Anthony Jr., Frank, John and Louise.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City with Father Chris Comerford as celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be accepted at the funeral home.
