Mildred F. “Tiny” Turcott, 84 of Granite City, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Stearns Nursing & Rehab in Granite City.
She was born March 16, 1931, in St. Louis, the daughter to the late John and Carrie Dixon.
Tiny was a Collator Take-off Girl for Bernadette Business Forms in St. Louis for 30 years before retiring in 1996. She had been a member of the Eagles, Lions and Red Hats in Granite City.
Survivors include four sons, John (Angie) Turcott, William Turcott, Alan (Vicki) Turcott and Kenneth Turcott Jr., all of Granite City; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Erik and Kenneth Turcott, a great-grandchild; one brother, Clarence Wilds of Warrenton, Mo.; and a sister, Jane Moore of Granite City.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cook Turcott Sr., in 2006 and several brothers.
Memorial visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of memorial services at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, with the Rev. Mark Maynard officiating at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
