Nancy A. Halley, 62, of Cottage Hills, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on March 15, 1953, in LaSalle, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Koziol) Skweres.
She married Kenneth Halley on Dec. 30, 1998, in Cottage Hills, and he survives.
Other survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brian and Kim Kudela of Hancock, Wis., Nathan and Diane Kudela of Milpitas, Calif., and Kevin Kudela of Cottage Hills; eight grandchildren, Brittany Byers, Alyssa Byers, Ayden Kudela, Brittany Hubbard, Leila Kudela, Anthony Kudela, Sidney Kudela and Faith Kudela; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and John Mayerchak of Sharpsville, Penn.; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Ginny Skweres of Gurnee, Ill.; and her beloved pets, Bella, Shep and Trouble.
Nancy was formerly employed at Coventry Healthcare as a licensed practical nurse for more than 10 years. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, her family and her friends. She loved to ride on the motorcycle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Skweres.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
