Norma B. Redman, 87, of Cottage Hills, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at Burnsides Community Health Center in Marshall.
She was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Rosiclare, the daughter of the late John and Charlotte (Calhoun) King.
She married Ronald Redman on July 15, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2002.
Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Macke of Marshall; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Roxanne Redman of Cottage Hills; four grandchildren and their spouses, Erin and Nate Blacketer, Brian Macke, Mira and Jason Rust, Micah and Amber Redman; and six great-grandchildren.
Norma was formerly employed as a central service technician at Wood River Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Wood River.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
In celebration of her life, graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Walter McCaslin will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in Wood River, where she was a member.
