Oliver “Wimp” Isenberg, 81 of Brighton, died at 5:14 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at his home in rural Jersey County.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1933, in Alton to the late Oliver C. and Ruth (Deatherage) Isenberg.
Wimp was a United States Army Veteran and a retired moldmaker from Owens-Illinois Glass.
He married Barbara Isenberg in Brighton on Dec. 5, 1980. She survives and resides in Brighton.
Also surviving are two daughters; Nikki Hays of Brighton and Jamie Todd of Brighton; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Jack Isenberg of Peoria and James Isenberg of Boxboro, Mass.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Marlene Isenberg; and one sister, Olive Henry.
