Pamela Butkovich, 53, of Pontoon Beach, passed away on January 17, 2014
Pamela was born on August 12, 1960 in Elkton, KY, a daughter to Everett Miller and Virginia (Rager) Lear.
On May 20, 1994, Pamela married Gary Butkovich, the love of her life, in Edwardsville.
Pamela had worked at Childs Catering for three years, Manheim Auto Auction and Canteen for 19 years, all in St. Louis, MO.
She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating and planting flowers were a few of her hobbies. Pamela was especially loved decorating her home and dressing up on her two favorite holidays, Christmas and Halloween. Christmas she would dress as Mrs. Clause and Halloween she was always a witch. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, whom she adored. Pamela will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Everett Miller; step father, I.G. Lear; and one brother, Hugh Russell Miller.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Butkovich of Pontoon Beach; mother, Virginia Lear of Elkton, KY; two step daughters, Ann Marie (Brian) Hoerr of Union, MO and Sarah (Chris) Bertman of Jerseyville; two brothers, Joe and Mike Miller, both of Elkton, KY; six grandchildren, Sydney, Brianna, Brandon, Crystal, Alex and Andrew; one great-granddaughter, Lillie; mother-in-law, Katherine Butkovich of Mitchell; four nephews, Kevin, Shane, Clayton and Joe; two nieces, Angie and Jessica; and other extended family and friends.
Services were through Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Rd. in Granite City.
