Patricia J. Seibold, 89, of Granite City, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon.
She was born April 9, 1926 in St. Paul, Minn., a daughter to the late Elmer and Olive (Brosvik) Havenor.
She gave more 25 years to the U.S. government as a payroll clerk, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Granite City, volunteered her time to the Women’s Service Guild and the Granite City Chapter of the A.A.R.P. She was a volunteer Braille transcriber, a member of the Senior Circle, the Granite City Senior Social Club, volunteered at Gateway Regional Medical Center gift shop and in her free time she loved playing pinochle and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by and will be missed by her daughters, Sharon and (Joe) Mangiaracino of Glen Carbon, and Barbara and (Dan) Lowery of Crown Point, Ind.; son, Robert and (Cindy) Azari of Kiawah Island, S.C.; grandchildren, Katie and (Tony) Petralia, Chris and (Amy) Lowery, Gabby Azari, and Zach Azari; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Azari Jr.; her second husband, William Seibold; and her brother, Bill Havenor.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. In celebration of her life, services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor David Corson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
