Paul E. Harvey, 85, of Godfrey, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1931, in Morristown, Tenn., the son of Thomas and Velma (Collins) Harvey.
He married Catherine E. (Roach) Harvey June 9, 1950, in Farmland, Ind. She preceded him in death Aug. 6, 1995.
Paul retired from the bread baking company for Bunny Bread. He was a member of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by three children and their spouses, Julie Harvey, Joseph (Kathy) Harvey, and Cheryl (George) Hausman; son-in-law, Byron McPherson; five siblings, Thomas Harvey, Vivian Weiser, Wanda (Kenny) Taylor, Mary Ellen (Bill) Vautaw, and Jeri Plummer; and six grandchildren, Nicholas Harvey, Matthew Harvey, Kim (Frank) Ash, Lana (Erik) Peterson, Lucas (Sarah) McPherson, and Angie Svoboda.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Paula McPherson and one brother, Keith Harvey.
Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
