Paul F. Fricker, 79, of Brighton, died at 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at his home in Brighton.
He was born in Medora on June 28, 1936.
Paul was the owner of Allied Produce. He was the President of Merchants Delivery. He was also on the Central Advisory Board at Midwest Truckers, member of Owl’s Club, American Truck Historical Society and the Tri County Antique Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Wilton) Fricker of Brighton; one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne Fricker and David Schmitt of O’Fallon; three sons and daughter-in-law, Paul F. Fricker Jr. of Brighton, Donald Fricker of Chicago, Brian and Kristi Fricker of Foristell, Mo.; four grandchildren, Makenzi Fricker, Benjamin Schmitt, Hailey Fricker, and Charlene and Bob Geiger of Brighton; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Allison Geiger; one sister-in-law, Dolores Waugh of Las Vegas; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Mary Wilton of Medora, and Donald and Shirley Wilton of Medora; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children and the Shriners Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to share a meal and memories at the Owl’s Club, which is located at 227 Blair Ave. in Alton immediately following the service.
