Randall Jacob “Randy” Beel, 58, of Smyrna, Tenn., died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at West Meade Place Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He was born Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1956, in Highland, the son of Clinton Jacob “Jake” and June Louise (nee Luehm) Beel.
He married Frances E. Beel (nee Hudson), who survives.
Randy was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tenn., and the Sam Davis Lodge No. 661 F&AM, also of Smyrna, Tenn.
Mr. Beel was a tool and die maker by trade and was employed at Nissan in Smyrna, Tenn., before his illness. His hobbies were fishing, camping, and restoring and driving old cars.
Survivors include his father, Clinton Jacob “Jake” Beel of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his mother, June Louise Beel, nee Luehm of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; his wife, Frances E. Beel, nee Hudson of Smyrna, Tenn.; stepson, Michael Rhodes of Woodbury, Tenn.; stepdaughters, Dawn Rhodes of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Nicole Rhodes of Lazerne, Tenn.; stepgrandchildren, Issac Gibson, Chloe Gibson, Abigail Gibson, Renee Fowler, Michelle Rhodes, Victoria O’Neal and Austin Heinze; stepgreat-grandchildren, Breyden Fowler, Dresden Fowler and Rodney Dillard III; brother, Dr. Rory J. (Melinda) Beel, D.C., of Smyrna, Tenn.; niece, Susan Beel; nephews, Clint Beel and Carl Beel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, with Masonic Rites at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Funeral service was at Southeast Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, with Bro. Joe Vinson officiating.
Local arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, with the Rev. Christopher W. Hill, Senior Pastor, Highland, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland.
