Raymond “Ed” Bell, 59, of Medora, died at 12:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1955, in Jerseyville, the son of Mabel A. (Wisdom) Bell of Jerseyville and the late William Raymond Bell.
He married Dawn Lavern (Bricker) Bell of Medora on July 7, 2007, in Alton. She survives.
Ed was a truck driver for BP. He was member of Teamsters and the Kane American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters, April Mann of Medora and Sara Nolan of Collinsville; son, Seth Bell of Godfrey; six grandchildren, Isaiah, Madelyn, Allyson, Jaydin, John Jr. and Zoey; and sisters and brother-in-law, Becky and Dale Edwards of Shipman and Cindy Edwards of Jerseyville.
He was preceded in death by his father and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation is from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at Targhetta and Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Targhetta and Woolridge Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Ray Robinson.
