Richard Keith Thomas, 54, of Granite City, died at 2:17 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis from injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run accident.
He was born April 20, 1960 in St. Louis, son of the late Vincent Alexander and Wanda Marie (Goode) Thomas.
Richard loved animals, horse racing and fishing. He was an avid St. Louis sports fan. He was employed by Elite Staffing.
Survivors include two sisters, Sondra Lee Crisel of Granite City and Pat (James) Jump of Hillsboro; brother, Steve Arthur (Jeannie) Thomas of South Carolina; uncle, Fred (Edwinna) Goode of Spencer, Okla.; cousin and best friend, Gary J. Chandler of Collinsville; nieces and nephews, Laura Lowe, Angela (Kelly) Padgeett, Melissa Lowe, James V. Jump and Amy Lowe Fernadez; great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins from Oklahoma and Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory.
