Roberta “Bobbie” Lynn Roberts, 56, of Edwardsville, passed away at 2:03 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born Dec. 18, 1958, in Granite City to the late Robert N. and Linda L. (McClure) Noud.
On July 30, 1983, she and Timothy F. Roberts were married in Granite City. He survives in Edwardsville.
Bobbie was a member of Faith in the Word Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Linda R. (Douglas) Potter of Mitchell, Angelica M. (Todd) Detmer of St. Louis, Katrina A. (Daniel) Dickerson of Edwardsville and Tabitha L. (Sam) Faulkner of Granite City; a son, Rickie E. Roberts of Sorento; nine grandchildren, Cailey Roberts, Owen Potter, Josephine Detmer, Alexander Detmer, Tyler Potter, Cyrus Dickerson, Savanna Faulkner, Avalyn Dickerson and Roman Faulkner, a sister, Sandy Howell of Arizona; and three brothers, Mike Noud of Florida, Chris Noud of Granite City and John Noud of Oklahoma.
The family would like to welcome all friends and family to a gathering to celebrate her life from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Faith in the Word Church, 664 Ashland, Mitchell. Everyone is also welcome to attend the Sunday service on Dec. 20, 2015, which will be a tribute to her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Kidney Fund or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
