Rose Ann Lopez, 78, of Madison, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born Sept. 24, 1937, in Granite City, the daughter of John and Anna May (nee Hartman) Sudek.
Rose married Harry A. Guida Nov. 3, 1955. He preceded her in death in 1978. Rose then married Enrique “Hank” Lopez, who also precedes her in death.
Rose was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Madison. She worked as a machine operator for Sunshine Art Studio in St. Louis for 17 years, where she retired from 20 years ago. Rose enjoyed taking care of people and also enjoyed gardening in her flower garden. Besides her family, she will be greatly missed by her dog, Bella.
The loving mother is survived by one daughter, Toni (Richard) Sbabo of Granite City; three sons, Michael A. Guida of McComb, Miss., John (Randy) Guida of Madison and Harry Guida of Madison; one granddaughter, Erica (Matt) Harper; two great-grandchildren, Mallory and Abaigail Harper; and one sister, Alice (Karl) Markovich.
Rose was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Anthony, and Charles Sudek; and one sister, Julia McGhee.
Cremation services entrusted to the care of Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory of Granite City.
