Sharon Bridges, 75, of Glen Carbon, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Granite City, the daughter to the late Wilburn and Ruby Wallace (nee Hutton).
Sharon owned and operated the Corner Liquor store on Nameoki for many years.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, Carol (Gary) Watkins of Granite City, Linda (David) Fincher of Wood River, Michael (Lisa) Bridges of Granite City and Vicki (Jason) Beck of Granite City; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Delores Biggs of Granite City and Lucille DeCosta of Granite City and brother, Donald
Wallace of Centralia, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda McMahon (nee Means); and brother, Floyd Wallace.
