Shirley Maxine Olscwa, 81, of Wood River, died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at her home.
She was born May 31, 1934 in Pontiac, Mich., the daughter to the late Earl W. and Lessie (Mogan) Cunningham.
On June 4, 1970, she and John Alfred Olscwa were married in Royal Oak, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Shirley had worked in real estate sales for many years. She loved to read and crochet and collect knick-knacks , teapots and cookie jars.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Cathy) Miser of Palmetto, Fla., and Kenneth Miser of Bradenton, Fla.; three daughters, Debbie (John) Knight of Bradenton, Fla., Brenda (Brett) Taylor of Myakka, Fla., and Kristen (David) Williams of Wood River; two stepchildren, David (Jane) Olscwa of Navarre, Fla., and Kathy (Dan) Priebe of Clinton Township, Mich; 11 grandchildren, John, Pamela and Roy Knight, Monica Taylor, James and Michael Miser, Kristin and Emily Williams and Christopher, Robert and Brandon Priebe; 11 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Norma Beedle of Belleview, Fla., Gail Morrey of Clio, Mich., Helen Page of Waterford, Mich., and Janice Wagner of Davidsburg, Mich.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
