Tony Kristoff, 77, of Granite City, passed away at 2:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at his home.
He was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Greece, a son of the late Risto Terziovski and Stavrula (Zupani) Terziovska. He married Kathy (Tsangas) Kristoff on May 1, 1965, in Romania and she survives. He retired in 2003 from American Steel after 22 years of dedicated service as a machinist. He enjoyed his days of gardening and tinkering.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Edie Terziovski of Granite City and Steve and Rhonda Kristoff of Tacoma, Wash.; one daughter and son-in-law, Slava and Mark Dilday of Granite City; 10 grandchildren, Alex, Sean, Luke and Samantha Dilday, Katie, Kyle and Emma Terziovski and Ian, Madison and Conor Kristoff; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Kristoff.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, with Father Andrew Moulton officiating.
