Travis Shayne Pinero, 24, of Madison, died at 3:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at his home.
He was born Oct. 30, 1989, in Maryville, a son of Robert W. and Sherri (Welty) Pinero.
Travis was a roofer with RSP Construction and a member of the Eagles Aerie No. 1126 in Granite City. He loved playing his guitar and keyboard and enjoyed his days of fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and cousins and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his entire family and friends.
In addition to his beloved parents, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Shawn Petroski of Granite City; brother, Jayson Pinero of Madison; niece and nephew, Kylie and Stryder; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Inez Welty and Joseph and Almetta Pinero.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Henry Crippen officiating.
