William “Bud” Walter Pascoe III, 69, of Granite City passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at his home, with his family by his side.
He was born June 24, 1946, in St. Louis. He worked as a boilermaker and was a member of Local 27; he served his country in Vietnam as a member of the United States Air Force. Bud married Mary Deason May 26, 1966, and celebrated 49 years of marriage together. He was active at the churches he attended and served as a Deacon at Pontoon Baptist and the 2nd Baptist Church before becoming a member at Unity Baptist Church.
Bud loved the Lord; he accepted Christ as his Savior, he enjoyed reading and teaching scripture. His passion was sharing Christ with others and bringing the Lord to them.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pascoe of Granite City; daughter, Sarah (Timothy) Lehmann of Winfield, Kan.; three sons, Matthew Pascoe of Leavenworth, Kan., Dan Pascoe of Wildwood, Mo., and Michael (Delayna) Pascoe of Webster Groves, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron) Bishoff, Allen (Rachele) Lehmann, Luke Lehmann, Emma Lehmann, Jocelyn Poll, Camryn Adams, Liam Pascoe and Lilah Pascoe; three great-grandchildren, William Bishoff, Parker Bishoff and Phoenix Lehmann; brother, Doug (Joyleen) Pascoe of Granite City; and sister, Dorthea Tippett of Troy, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Walter Pascoe II; mother, Myrtle Anna Hendricks; and brother-in-law, Stephen Tippett.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, with the Rev. Mark Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials can be made to Unity Baptist Church or Community Care.
