The Metro East Bears locked down the Fifth Division title in dominant fashion on Friday in Carmi.
The Bears short gamed Teutopolis 12-0 in seven innings in the title tilt of the tourney.
Aaron Jackson notched the win on the mound, tossing seven innings of shutout baseball.
Chance Foss cracked a grand slam in the seventh inning to complete the short game in walkoff fashion.
Metro East's Jordan Hovey was named MVP for the tournament.
Next up for the Bears is the state tournament which gets underway on Wednesday in Wheaton.
