Edwardsville's Luke Babington finished in a three-way tie for fourth in the Quincy Invitational on Saturday.
The Edwardsville Tigers placed second at the Quincy Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers shot a four-player score of 397. Quincy Notre Dame won the 16-team tournament with 395.
Edwardsville picked up its second runner-up tournament finish in less than a week. The Tigers placed second to Marquette Catholic at the Alton Tee-Off Classic on Aug. 16.
Edwardsville won the large-school division title of the Madison County tournament on Aug. 18.
At the Quincy tournament, three Edwardsville golfers earned medals. Luke Babington led the way with an 18-hole score of 75, good for a three-way tie for fourth. Ben Tyrrell, who won titles at the Alton Tee-Off Classic and the Madison County tournament, finished eighth with a 77. Tanner White and Spencer Patterson finished in a six-way tie for 14th with an 80.
Also for Edwardsville, Jon Ratterman shot an 85.
The Alton Redbirds finished 16th with a 515. Matt Moore and Dylan Lahue each shot a 96, Ryan Boyd and Brayden Haug each finished with a 102 and Austin Olson had a 119.
