Last week's question: Name the former Civic Memorial pitcher who was drafted in the 12th round of the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft out of William Woods University by the recent World Series champion Kansas City Royals?
The answer to the Nov. 6 AdVantage News sports trivia question is Nick Wooley. Wooley, a former CM standout pitcher, was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft in the 12th round. He competed in the Royals organization from '09-11, playing with and against many of the key members of Kansas City's World Series championship team, including Salvador Perez, Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas.
Congratulations to Randy Payne, who answered correctly and wins a $10 voucher off any service to Quality Buick GMC Cadillac in Alton.
