Calhoun senior Brandon Kizer recently inked a letter of intent to continue his football career at Monmouth College, a Division III college in Illinois.
Kizer played his senior season with the Warriors after playing the first three seasons of his prep career at Marquette Catholic High School where he was a standout quarterback.
Kizer is continuing his career with the Fighting Scots of Monmouth as a running back.
Family, friends and coaches joined Kizer recently as he signed to continue his football career on the collegiate gridiron.
Monmouth was 8-2 and 4-1 in the Midwest Conference in 2014. The Scots will have a new coach in Chad Braun in 2015 after replacing Steve Bell who was 113-44 in 15 seasons at the helm.
