2A Semi-Final playoffs
After Thursday’s down-to-the-wire win against Edwardsville, the undefeated Alton Redbirds will lace up their skates again tonight for game two of the semi-finals at the East Alton Ice Rink.
The North champions, either Edwardsville or Alton, will advance to the 2A Mississippi Valley Club Hockey Association finals against the South Division champion.
If the Redbirds win tonight, this best-of-three series set for 8:45 p.m. could be cut short. If not, Edwardsville will have handed Alton their first loss of the season. Game three, if necessary, will be at 8:45 Tuesday night, also in East Alton.
The South Division championship will be between Triad and Belleville, set to begin tonight at 8:45 at the Granite City Ice Rink.
1A Semi-Final playoffs
