Twin City carved up Southwestern on Wednesday in a 14-4 victory.
The independent South Roxana American Legion Post 1167 baseball team improved to 24-3 on the season with the win.
Spencer Heineman logged the win on the mound, working three innings, fanning three and scattering two hits.
Blake Marks guided the offensive attack going 3 for 4 with a double, three RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Blake Vandiver, Blake Lawson, Heineman and Logan Reardon each had two hits apiece in the win. Reardon had a double and three RBIs, while Lawson hit a triple and logged one RBI.
Next up for Twin City is a tournament in St. Peters, Mo. beginning on Friday. Post 1167 plays at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday and will have a game to be determined on Sunday.
