Twin City won a pair of games Friday to kick things off in a tournament in St. Peters, Mo.
The South Roxana American Legion Post 1167 independent team topped Warrenton, Mo. 11-2 and then bested the St. Louis Regulators 12-0. With the pair of victories Twin City improved to 26-3 on the season.
Alex Baldwin posted the win on the hill in Game 1. Offensively, Blake Marks led the way going 3 for 3 with a double, triple and three RBIs. Blake Vandiver, Randy Skiff and Tanner Davis all contributed three hits apiece in the win, too.
Marks notched the pitching win in Game 2. He worked three innings, striking out six.
Logan Reardon cracked a triple and knocked in four runs in the win. Davis, Skiff and Adam Moore all had two hits to add to the fun. Marks and Spencer Heineman scored three runs apiece also.
Twin City continues play today.
