EDWARDSVILLE — University Nursing and Rehabilitation announces they are the recipient of Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2016 Customer Experience Award.
Qualifying for the award in the category of Professional Therapy Services, University Nursing and Rehabilitation displays a continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior health care services.
“I am very honored and fortunate to work with such a skilled and caring group of therapists,” said Tom Mason, LPTA, rehab coordinator of TruRehab at University Nursing. “We consider ourselves lucky to work as a close group and enjoy a work environment where we all believe ‘residents first’ is the best approach to deliver the best care to our residents.”
Throughout its 40-year history of serving the community, University has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Over the course of 2015, a sampling of customers and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well the opportunity to rate University in specific categories.
Every month, University has gathered its survey results to gain a better understanding of residents’ needs and make improvements when necessary.
By qualifying for the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award, University Nursing and Rehabilitation has satisfied the rigorous demand of scoring in the top 15 percent of the nation across a 12-month average. Clients have the opportunity to achieve this Best in Class distinction on a monthly basis in many categories designed to accurately reflect each resident’s experience.
