SOAR (Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees) holds their monthly meetings on the second (2nd) Monday of each month-(our next meeting will be September 14th) at the Neighborhood Social Club (formerly the Venice Social Club) located at 4168 State Route 162, Pontoon Beach, IL. 62040. The meetings start at 12 Noon and a variety of topics pertaining to seniors are discussed. The Organization is open to Retirees from all walks of life. Lunch is provided and side dishes are requested of those who wish to take part in it. We also collect can-goods to distribute to local area food-pantrys.
