The official start of the season for the Riverside Flea Market in Grafton is fast approaching on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23.
The flea market is held monthly on the fourth weekend, beginning with the March flea market. The market schedule will continue through October in Grafton.
The Grafton Riverside Flea is the largest flea market in the Alton region, boasting of more than 75 vendors with a wide selection of antiques, crafts, the usual flea market fare and food. There will be a number of new dealers, plus familiar faces. The butterfly man will be there on Saturdays.
During the 2014 season, the market will be open to shoppers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the following dates: March 22 to 23, April 26 to 27, May 24 to 25, June 28 to 29, July 26 to 27, Aug. 23 to 24, Sept. 27 to 28 and Oct. 25 to 26.
