The Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater officially welcomed its brand-new, American-made digital sign with a short ceremony Tuesday morning. The sign was purchased by sponsor Liberty Bank. “We want to add another piece to promote our community and bring financial gain to the area,” Liberty Bank President Dale Blachford said. “The two main events that were already held this season brought Missouri people across the river, which brings Missouri dollars to our local businesses, our local community benefits.” Pictured at the ceremony, from left, are amphitheater commission member Judy Egelhoff, commission member Brett Stawar, Arrow Custom Signs project manager Lance Demond, Liberty Bank President Dale Blachford, Alton Mayor Brant Walker, commission member and Alton Marina manager Karen Baker-Brncic and Liberty Bank Director and Vice President of Wegman Electric Mark Kratschmer.
